Korean Christian Thought Institute founded,
celebratory general meeting and meeting of promoters held,
first chairman Father Jung Eui-Chae and head of
institute Father Shim Sang-tae took office

1992:

Official recognition of the corporate
Korean Christian Thought Institute by the Ministry of Culture,
Sports, and Tourism, foundation of Science Council

1993:

Published first issue of ,
journal {뿌리내림(Ppurinaerim)},
established classes of {Korean Church Mental Research}
and {Korean Church Belief College}

1994-1999

1994: Second chairman Father Bae Moon-han, third chairman Father Han Sang-ho took office
1995: Groundbreaking ceremony of institute building
1996: Institute consecration
1999: Fourth chairman Father Lee Yong-hoon (current diocesan bishop at Suwon church) took

2001-2019

2001: Naturalization Theological School established
2002: Naturalization and Curing of Young Souls Research Society established
2003: Institute’s Seoul Center opened, House of Hope office moved
2004: Fifth chairman Father Kim Geon-tae took office
2006: Thomas Merton Research Society established, sixth chairman Father Bang Sang-man took office 2010: Seventh chairman Father Lee Yong-hwa took office
2014: Eighth chairman Father Yoo Hee-seok took office
2018: Ninth chairman Father Kwak Jin-sang took office
2019: Second head of institute Father Yoo Hee-seok took office
